The Georgia Swarm defeated the Rochester Knighthawks 13-10 last night (Friday) ending the possibility of a three-way tie scenario in the NLL East that would have ended The Rock’s Lacrosse season. A win against Buffalo tonight and a loss by the New England Black Wolves to the Vancouver Stealth earns Toronto home-floor for next week’s division semi-final otherwise it’s a trip to the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Toronto has lost 4 in a row and needs to turn things around and gain some momentum and confidence heading into the playoffs. Rock coach Matt Sawyer said “We want to go into the playoffs feeling good about ourselves. Lacrosse is a game of runs and we’re in a bad one. But we can’t look at what happened.
